I was a little bored in class and was illustrating a separate picture of a woman's head, who's hair was a bit more tame than what you see here, and I thought,"Hmm... almost an Edward Scissorhands hairdo." Then I paused. Then I thought, "Female Edward Scissorhands?" So this is the outcome, and I must say I'm quite liking it. (And I'm glad I do, because I'd be very pissed to find out that I'd stayed up 'til 4:35 am for nothing!)

References were hard to come by, so the next best thing was to go pop the Edward Scissorhands DVD into the computer and take about a million screencaps. So (hopefully) the costume's pretty accurate.

A first name for her still hasn't been decided yet. So far I have Edwina, Emily, Edna; and Angela has suggested Eileen. I'm personally leaning toward Edwina so that it still sounds like Edward. Anyway, I'm already started on a colored version that'll be pretty spiffy when it's done, I'm sure. So, stay tuned!

*EDIT: So yeah, either her first name is Edna or Edwina. I like those the best.

*EDIT 2 - 10/20/07: Crap. Now Emily is sounding alright, too.
